Italian home furnishings show Abitare il Tempo devotes over one million square feet to products, experimental exhibitions, and workshops.
The 23rd edition of the fair will showcase products in categories including furniture, upholstered furniture, outdoor furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, textiles, carpets, drapes, tableware, decorative accessories, paintings, children's furniture, floor and wall coverings, doors, stairs, and handles. Twenty-five percent of exhibitors are expected to be from outside Italy.
Highlights include innovative exhibits and the announcement of the Abitare il Tempo award, which honors designers, scholars, industrialists, journalists, retailers and school institutions in Italy and abroad. Italian designer Alessandro Mendini took home the prize in 2007.
The 2007 show hosted over 700 exhibitors from 26 different countries. Some 54,000 visitors made the trip, hailing from 97 different countries. |
